Intermediate fasting vs. Intermittent nutritional fasting

The only thing the human body cares about is what is in the calorie, including the nutrients (carbohydrates, fats, and proteins), phytochemicals (antioxidants, adaptogens), botanicals, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. So, instead of counting calories we need to make every calorie count.

This discovery has led nutraceutical chemists to focus on providing all the necessary phytonutrients, botanicals, nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and trace elements that are the only substances the body cares about.

The formulators have figured out how to include all of these nutrients in the fewest calories possible.

The body cannot and does not count calories as the only way you can count calories is in a laboratory.

Armed with this approach (nutritional density of the highest quality nutrients) nutraceutical chemists have created a revolutionary intermittent nutritional fasting protocol (massive high-quality nutrients in very few calories).

The nutritional fasting protocol allows caloric reduction but with a huge advantage. The advantage is that although the calories are exceptionally low the nutritional density is very high. This avoids the body freaking out and going into starvation mode. When the body goes into starvation mode the body will begin to stop burning fat and begin to store it. This is built into our natural survival mechanism in the human body. It’s called the ‘thrifty gene’ and has been around as long as humankind.

This is also remarkable in the fact that you will not experience hunger if you are supplied with all the high-quality nutrients the body needs regardless of the calorie count. That is why people on intermittent fasting have such a hard time to continue. They go into starvation mode because you have lowered or eliminated the calories and at the same time you are lowering and or eliminating nutrients.

Note: We are not in any way dismissing the positive effect of intermittent fasting. We are instead pointing out that this life changing new approach called “Intermittent Nutritional Fasting©” has proven to increase the impact of intermittent fasting.

The Intermittent Nutritional Fasting Protocol is based on days of caloric reduction (not nutritional reduction) with days of Intermittent Nutritional Fasting.

On a caloric reduction day, a person would consume the new nutritionally dense formulas that have been created twice a day with one normal healthy meal. This is a day of about 1200 to 1500 calories. Keep in mind that the amount of nutrition the body is getting because of nutritional density would require 1000’s more calories to equal the high-quality dense nutrition in the formulas that have been created.

Nutritional science is creating more and more of these formulas based not on calories but on the nutritional density and quality of the nutrients in each calorie.

Intermittent nutritional fasting days are done for 48 hours consecutively. On an Intermittent Nutritional Fasting day, the caloric intake is below 500 calories which is low enough to trigger the natural detox mechanism in the human body. The key again is that the 500 calories that are being consumed contain massive amounts of the nutrients, phytochemicals, botanicals, vitamins, minerals, and trace elements that prevent the body from going into starvation mode. This allows the body to release fat in those areas that store the most toxins, namely your abdominal belly fat region. Also know as your visceral fat depots.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), through its National Center for Health Statistics, has conducted a series of blood and urine tests on thousands of Americans, measuring and monitoring their absorption of chemical toxins, and at what concentrations these chemicals occur in the body. Think of it as an ongoing “Manhattan Project” of public health research.

Each report has expanded the numbers of chemicals that were searched for and ultimately detected in body fluids. In the first report, for instance, dozens of industrial chemicals were on the target list, with each subsequent report adding dozens more chemicals for analysis, until by the fourth report, 212 chemicals had been included. 14

Unfortunately, many of us contain a large number of these chemicals within our bodies, and they are creating a toxic atmosphere that is seriously damaging our health, partly because many of these toxins build up over time and interact with one another in harmful ways. They are in the air we breathe, water we drink, food we consume, and personal care products we apply. We are literally drowning in toxins. They are the super bug of this century, and they are ultimately destroying us.

Today humans roam the earth with an average of 700 or more industrial chemicals flowing through their bodies. That is an estimate, of course, because no one really knows for sure. (For most chemicals in circulation today, no technology even exists yet to detect their presence in the human body.)

A study done by The Environmental Working Group a few years ago found an average of 250 toxins stored in the blood of newborn infants.

This Intermittent Nutritional Fasting is the best of all worlds in that you are fasting without starvation because you are getting the nutrition that the body requires. This allows the body to naturally detoxify.

The combination of 5 caloric reduction days with 48 hours of intermittent nutritional fasting is much easier for people to do. Most people start with 30 days of the Intermittent Nutritional Fasting protocol.

What does the science say about Intermittent Nutritional Fasting?

In recent scientific studies utilizing the Intermittent Nutritional Fasting protocols people have seen dramatic reduction in adipose fat, visceral fat, inflammation markers, and most importantly the removal of toxins like phthalates (plastics) from the body.

There has also been in those individuals needing to lose weight tremendous safe weight loss with a gain in lean muscle mass. Many people in 4 days think their scales are broken.

There is lots of evidence now that intermittent nutritional fasting as it has been described has many, many, health benefits.

Intermittent Nutritional Fasting has been proven to greatly enhance the positive health benefits of intermittent fasting.
